The Little Manatee River is one of the last native rivers
that is still in a pristine, undeveloped, and quiet run from
south of Lakeland to Tampa Bay. Most of the banks are
protected with only a few area with living dwellings, but
no commercial development. Native Americans surely
used this river for moving both west and east along the
south shore of Tampa Bay.
FLOAT TRIPS:  There  are several put-in/take-out location allowing a
custom float to meet your time requirements as well as your desire for
sun or shade during your families time on the river.
Waterproof bags for phones, cameras, or other electronic equipment is
recommended.
